The Solution for Project

We conducted a thorough audit of the Google Tag Manager (GTM), Google Ads, and GA4 setup to identify the root cause of the tracking issues. Here’s what we did:

Identified the Issue in GTM Implementation

The problem was traced to incorrect configurations in the GTM setup, which hindered data flow to Google Ads and GA4.

Implemented Custom DataLayers

We created a new purchase event tracking system using custom DataLayers to capture and send purchase values to both Google Ads and GA4 accurately.

Updated Tracking in GA4

Configured new tracking events in GA4 to capture all important e-commerce parameters, including purchase value, product details, and transaction IDs

Resolved Cookie Consent Issues

Implemented a GDPR-compliant cookie consent solution (Cookie Consent V2) that allowed tracking while respecting user privacy.
